The Head Line

The head line is the most important line in the hand, as this gives an indication of a persons mentality and intellectual development. Marks on the line will show sickness and accidents to the brain and head. The normal position of the line starts from between the index and thumb and runs horizontally across the hand.

The Heart Line

The normal position for the heart lines starts from between the index finger and second finger and curves across the palm ending just below the small finger on the side of the hand. This line shows the emotional influences of the individual. It will give insights into the affection they will give, and wish to receive, and also show the action of the heart and diseases.

The Life Line

The normal position of the life line starts from under the mount of jupiter from the side of the hand encircling the mount of venus around the base of the thumb. That is why the palmist will examine the line closely to see if there is any changes in the position and also looks for markings on the line.

The Fate Line

The normal position of the line starts from the wrist and runs along the center of the hand and ends under the second finger. The fate line is one of the most important of the secondary lines, but marks along this line will indicate a persons directions, successes, failures and obstacles in life.
Influences to the career and must be taken in relationship with the three main lines.

The Sun Line

The normal position of the line starts from the wrist and ends under the third finger.  If found in the hand, the line must be examined with other lines and will always add to success if clearly marked in the hand.

The Health Line

The normal position of the line starts from the wrist and ends under the forth finger. The line of health should be taken into consideration with the three main lines.  A close look at the finger nails will give some insights. Long or short, red or pink, and long nails indicate weakness from the waist up.  Short nails indicate weakness from the waist down.  When nails get thin and break easily it is a sign of ill health.

Affection or Marriage Lines

The normal position of the line is on the side of the hand between the small finger and the heart line.  If marked in the hand, they must be taken into consideration with the shape of the hand and strength of the lines and the character of the subject before having insights into marriage, children, separation or divorce.

The Girdle of Venus

The normal position of the line starts from between the first and second finger and goes around in a broken line to between the third and fourth fingers.

The line is often called the second heart line as it adds to the emotions of the person and is read with the heart line.

Line of Mars

The normal position of the line is from the lower mount of mars around the mount of venus inside the life line.

The line is sometimes called the second line of life as it is read with the line of life and adds to the energy of the person and helps with any set backs that are on the life line.

Second Line of Head

The normal position of the line is from the mount of jupiter towards the lower mount upper mount of mars.

When there are two lines of head one line will start with the line of life from the side of the hand towards the moon and the second from the
mount of jupiter, this will give a strong mental capacity with the ability to plan work and look ahead.
